On Saturday, 29 May 2021, my favourite Autumn book fair is going virtual! While I miss those chilly Saturdays spent at Kingsmead College with an exciting programme of book talks for young and old(er), a wonderful assortment of food stalls and reconnecting with book lovers – I am really happy that they found a way to bring it back in a way that prioritises everyone’s safety. I have the pleasure of being in two children’s programme sessions for the Kingsmead Book Fair this year.
- Join Dr Judy Dlamini and I for a discussion about our book, Grow to Be Great: Awesome African Achievers from 09:00 – 09:30. It will be facilitated by Sewela Langeni from Book Circle Capital.
- Join Professor Claudine Storbeck and I for a discussion about our book, Mpumi and Jabu’s Magical Day from 10:20 – 10:50. It will be facilitated by Tina Akuoko from Ethnikids.
Check out this year’s participants, both the children’s and adults programme and then purchase your tickets here. See you on Saturday!
