Open book Festival is giving children and youth their own dedicated literary festival! That makes me happy because a bunch of us authors and illustrators will be bringing the joy and magic of reading to selected schools and libraries in Cape Town from Saturday, 25 March – Sunday, 1 April. Of course, I can’t invite you to the school readings but I will have a public event on the opening Saturday at The Book Lounge (where my grown-up readers can join me on the evening of Tuesday, 28 March for something different).
