Join my favourite, adventurous friend, Mpumi, as she explores a wildlife reserve, visits a clinic for good health and goes to school for learning and friendship.
Where Does Mpumi Go? (David Philip, 2024) is the eighth book in the Mpumi series and the fifth book for the Early Childhood Develpment (ECD) phase. It’s no secret that I love my illustrator, Masego Morulane‘s work and she outdoes herself every time. Mpumi is just so adorable on this cover! Look at her little park ranger hat, the smile on her face and having both her binoculars and a camera shows that she’s a very smart girl. Oh, my goodness! Each new book is such a treat for moments like these.
Most importantly, I’m looking forward to expanding little readers’ libraries and vocabularies with these vibrant little books that help them learn about the world around them in their own languages. This one is suitable for children ages 3-5 years old.
This book is available in all 11 South African languages through the following link: https://newafricabooks.com/products/where-does-mpumi-go
